Paths to Becoming a Teacher

Today, there are more choices than ever for someone wishing to enter the education field. Prospective teachers can enroll in a traditional on-campus program at a college or university, study online as part of a distance learning program offered by any number of accredited colleges and universities, or, if they already have a bachelor's degree, they can apply for entrance to an alternate preparation program. There are many benefits to each mode of study, and the decision as to which program is right for you depends on your education history, career goals, learning style, and lifestyle.
